Reviving a place of history

The Stock Exchange building is a place rich with history. As the first exchange in the North, it brought an influx of jobs, money and energy – becoming the beating heart of Manchester’s city centre from 1836 – 2000.

Tom Kerridge’s latest restaurant, inside Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs’ Stock Exchange Hotel, revives the building back to full glory. Tom’s signature refined British classics are created with passion and energy that’s right at home on the trading floor.

Sharing the stories that made it and will keep it in people’s hearts

The restaurant takes its name from the turbulent markets the building was home to – the upward thrust of a bull’s horn and the downward swipe of a bear’s paw. The brand shares stories and illustrations of the people who make the Bull & Bear; vignettes of suppliers, chefs, servers and customers, the passion and energy that goes into every dish.

The philosophy that Tom and his teams live by – the care and attention to every single detail – is what makes dining at his restaurants so special. So that even if you’re eating a burger while watching the footie, it’s the flavours, and spirit that take it to the next level.

This is what the brand is designed to capture.
