Last night we brought home three trophies from Transform Awards Europe for our work with Breast Cancer Now and Tesco ’ continuing our success at the ceremony over the past three years.
Our work for Breast Cancer Now won Silver in two categories: Best Use of a Visual Property and Best Corporate Rebrand following a Merger or Acquisition. We were highly commended in the Best Creative Strategy category.
And, in keeping with the festivities on the night, our light-hearted Christmas packaging for Tesco fresh produce also got in on the act, winning a Silver Award for Best Use of Copy/Style/Tone of Voice.
Breast Cancer Now is the new charity created by the merger of Breast Cancer Breakthrough and Breast Cancer Campaign, with the ambition to stop women dying from breast cancer by 2050. We launched the new brand in June last year, with recognition reaching an unprecedented high throughout Breast Cancer Awareness Month ’ especially during the charity's annual #wearitpink event on October 23rd.
We rebranded Tesco's fresh produce to bring a clear, transparent approach to the fruit and veg aisle. This extended to the brand's Christmas packaging, where we took a different approach, using language on-pack to playfully reference family Christmas traditions. The relaunch surpassed all expectations, with Fresh Produce being the only part of the business that grew in Q4 2014.
The Transform Awards focus on rebranding and brand development, with entries from across Europe in all industries. It's exactly where we want to be recognised. We'd like to thank the brave clients who've trusted our thinking, as well as our brilliant writing, design, project and strategy teams here at The Clearing. Take a look at our award-winning work here.
