Yes, the summer of 2016 is officially over, but here at The Clearing there's still plenty to smile about. Over the past few weeks we've been hovering around the awards circuit on the hunt for more trophy-cabinet gold. And the news couldn't be better....
First up, our brand work for Breast Cancer Now won the prestigious Social Impact Award at the Brand Impact Awards, as well as being awarded top honours in the non-profit category. It's another great milestone for the charity, which has already made big strides forward since its launch last summer.
Breast Cancer Now took home its third award in a week when we won the Brand Development Award at the Third Sector Awards. The ceremony, created to celebrate those who give back to the community and champion leaders across the sector, applauded the merger of the UK's two biggest breast cancer charities stating the brand is "on the money in terms of personality, empathy and standout."
We're also chuffed to see that our friends at RLSB and London Air Ambulance also struck gold on the night. RSLB took home the Breakthrough of the Year award for developing smart technology to help visually impaired passengers on the tube. While London Air Ambulance shared the Best Charity Law Firm award with Hogan Lovells, who helped the emergency-response charity purchase an all-important second helicopter earlier this year.
A big well done one and all ’ see you in the spring awards season.
