"Congratulations to Alex, our new British Round The World record holder, who has finished in 3rd place in the non-stop Vendee Globe race and knocked a spectacular 8 days off the British record. Alex has been working towards this for 10 years and we're delighted to have helped him achieve his dream in the boat we designed for HUGO BOSS.
In a race that Alex described as “brutal”, he had to battle the elements around the three major capes of Good Hope, Leeuwin and Horn, as well as deal with losing his power supply following a collision in the southern Ocean.

“This has been my dream for as long as I can remember, and after 10 years of trying, and to have finally finished in a podium position, and in 80 days, is more than I could have hoped for” said Alex.
