Jonathan shares responsibility for our creative standards with Andy and Pete. Born on a rock in the Channel but exiling himself to London, he has the knack of finding simplicity from complexity, whilst bringing strategic rigour to creative expression.

Long before tone of voice became a marketer’s fashion accessory, Pete was pioneering the importance of words in branding. As creative director for language, he helps brands use words more imaginatively to engage the people that matter, wherever they are in the digital or physical world.
Sharing the creative leadership of The Clearing with Jonathan and Pete, Andy’s expertise spans the full spectrum of visual disciplines – from digital to physical environments. Awarded over more years than he cares to be reminded, Andy brings an irresistible craft to our client’s brands.
